IJN Comments: Both British ships escape Indonesia.  At Pearl Harbor, only the LBA, a damaged New Orleans, and a damaged [-2] Pennsylvania escape.  The IJN is slightly ahead of average.

IJN Comments: My only hope this turn was to control all three areas where I fought.  That wasn't likely and didn't happen.  When we left off it looked like I might actually win the Marianas, but Indonesia was hopeless from the open shot.  Interestingly, that's not what one would have expected given the initial preference dice.

USN Comments: As usual in a game of VITP, key(s) day/night rolls helped me a lot in our game.
