The I-Boat Raid and Individual CPO Withdrawal adjustments are in play.
USN Endgame Comments: My CVL's were not able to go three for three in round 2; therefore I cannot win the zone.
Final Turn PoC would be 13 - 3 = 10 in favor of the USN bringing PoC for the game from 19 to 9. The Bid means that the IJN wins by 4 PoC
Thanks for a great game Ed, I think I could have played Turn 6 and 7 better than I did; and I believe that's what cost me the game. Especially Turn 6, firstly by not securing the Philippines and secondly your Day action results that turn virtually assured that I would be an underdog against your LBA when I did eventually go up against them.
The thing I learned from this game is that you really need to have an idea of what you want to do at the beginning of the turn and stick with it.
Good luck in your remaining matches!
IJN Endgame Comments: You are always fun and competitive to play Charlie. The way you saved all those bases during the early/middle game made life difficult game for me as the IJN. You were bound to have a pretty big surface wrap on me for T8 with the Brits in the fray. So my strategy was to lure/force you into battle on T6 & T7 to get carrier attrition. I was lucky on T6 with abnormally high attrition but not so lucky on T7 as D never came up. Fortunately the flag gave me pure D 2 turns in a row on T8 to be able to remove all your carriers before they could down all my lba or your surface fleet came to bear.
Best of luck with your games – well at least until we meet again :-)
