USN Report: On turn one, I got TN, PA and NV(4d)
out of Pearl.
USN Report: On turn two, my USN challenged the SPO on turn 2 and got smoked! Mike's IJN force of Shokuku, Ryujo, a single LBA and the sub SUNK 4 of my 5 carriers in the first round. The second round saw my last carrier disabled and Mike held the area. My combined fire in those 2 rounds sunk only the Ryujo. I also sent 8xCA to the AI and saw countless day actions whittle my fleet down. I did manage to get a day/night in the middle of it but cleanly whiff on Shoho (4 shots) and Ashigara (1 shot). I eventually had to withdrawal from that area as well.
USN Endgame Comments: After another blitzing by Mike on T3, I resign our game. Congratulations to Mike for applying a lot of pressure on me on turn 3 after a terrific turn two. I had to take some chances but they all failed under a flood of IJN hits! So, sadly, I will pack this one in.
