Turn 1

IJN Report: A very good first round of airraids saw 4 bottomed BB's, a crippled BB and damage to two more BB's. With that in hand I decided to target the 7th AF on round 2 along with the remaining Pearl ships. The 7th was hit but for 1d. The ships sunk/bottomed on rd 2 included WV, NV, NO, SF for a total of 8. The surviving Pearl ships were the PA(3d) and the CA(5d).

In Indo, the 5th and Repulse were destroyed.

Groups X and Z showed in the Hawaiians and 3xCV were based in Austrailia.

POC at normal 7 for the turn.

Turn 5

IJN Report: IJN fleet strength (10 CV/CVL, 6xLBA, 10xBB, 14xCA, 2xNLF), owns the Applebaum (except for Guad), and POC maxed

Turn 8

USN Comments: The night action in the Marianas Islands guarantees at least a 0.5 POC victory for you. My attacks in the Japanese Islands shot down 5 of your 6 LBA, but you sank or disabled all of my carriers except for the Cowpens.

I will resign at this point. The final score will likely be 11 POC in your favor (before subtracting the 4.5 POC bid).  Congratulations on a decisive victory!

IJN Comments: Thanks for the game! It was pretty rare to see a whopping 16 IJN carriers pairing up with the 6 LBA for the T8 battle. The USN's 7xCV and 6xCVL's were certainly in an uphill battle...

Good to see that you stayed and played out the game. I think we ripped through those last 3 turns in about a week! Your excellent LBA shooting on T6 allowed the game to get to T8. Best of luck in the rest of your T10 games!
