Anders Egneus (IJN; Bid 4.5) vs. Nick Markevich (USN)

The I-Boat Raid and CPO Withdrawal adjustments are in play.

Turn 5

IJN Surrender: Boy, did I get wiped out here! About the only good dice this turn was the attack on Akagi  and that was good as it was a disable from one shot. :)

Anyway, great game - I haven't felt this outplayed in a long time. Either I gambled a lot and failed, or just played badly, I'm not certain which yet, but it feels as if strokes of luck had very little to do with the eventual outcome of this game.

Good luck in your future games, and I look forward to an eventual rematch (where I'll try to play better, so you can enjoy trouncing me for 8 turns instead of just 5 :)

USN Comment: Thanks for the game! Initially neither one of us shot particularly well against opposing carriers or LBA, which left a lot of Japanese and American carriers on the board. My excellent combat results on turn 5 sealed your fate after Yamato missed my lone patroller in the Hawaiian Islands on the previous turn.

Good luck in your remaining Top Ten games! I'm sure we'll meet again on the VitP ladder or future BPA tournaments.
