The I-Boat Raid and CPO Withdrawal adjustments are in play.

Turn 4

Turn 1

IJN Report: IJN sinks 2BB + 2CA in a really bad Pearl Harbor. Only one USN CV ends up in Australia.

Turn 2

IJN Report: IJN does the two-area attack after USN puts patrollers in Marshalls. USN puts LBA in SPO, CPO and MI, concedes HI, sends in the Brits, puts 4 CV vs 2LBA in Marshalls and Enterprise + 17 surface units in USM to face 5 small CV/CVL + 10 surface. USM gets night on rd 1 in USM, but sinks only Hiryu and hurts only one other CVL while IJN manages to remove almost all BBs. USM then retreats, splitting into fast and slow groups, gets pursued by Soryu and three CA, gets night again but only manages to dink the Soryu for 1 point. IJN breaks off pursuit. In Marshalls, Yorktown goes down along with one LBA before the IJN runs to allow the USN to establish the block...but with both home ports under blockade. The Brits whiff while losing a CV, IJN capture Johnston and Phillipines at night, sink one LBA in SPO and ding the LBA in CPO to force it to retreat in face of the upcoming KO threat.

Losses this turn: Hiryu, 2x 436, 2x118, Yorktown, 1 British CV, 2x453

Turn 3

IJN Report: We just reached the bottom of T3. Score is IJN +25, Pearl fell with no defense this turn as Dan put all LBA and his entire fleet (4CVs + 20 surface) in USM to stop the K.O threatened by the IJN main fleet (9CV + 15 surface). IJN got day and sunk all four CVs for a loss of 4 themselves for a total of 4 lost CVs and 1 lost CVL so far. IJN flags wave over all bases inside the perimeter, only Guadalcanal is still in USN hands. USN has 8 LBA and 2 Marines - along with loads of surface units (only 2BB + 2 CA were sunk during Pearl) and controls Indo.

Losses this turn: The rest of the USN CVs, Kaga, Akagi, Shokaku, Shoho.

Turn 4

USN Concession: Sorry - I have recently gotten engaged and am already working on details for a marriage next year. Plus my fiancée lives in Aurora, about and hour away (or more with traffic) so I am away from e-mail more.

In view of the shortened time limit imposed [by the GM, specifically the 19th of July]- plus the rancid state of the die rolls - I have no choice but to resign.
