Ander Egneus (IJN; Bid 4.5) vs. Alfred Wong (USN)

The I-Boat Raid and CPO Withdrawal adjustments are in play.

Alfred's Report

T2
IJN puts 2, 4 & 7 patrollers in CS, USM & HI. LBA: Indo - 3, SPO - 2, Mars - 1. I place patrollers and LBA aggressively in Mari, SPO, Mars CPO, NPO & CS.

IJN supports SPO, Mars & HI enough to scare me away. I attack everywhere else except Indo.

T3
I use all 5 LBA and fleet to save Pearl.

T4 & T5
IJN holds core areas of Indo, JI, Mari, SPO, Mars & CPO. USN holds rest.

T6
IJN defends CPO too strongly; I have to go elsewhere. Marines take Kwajalein & Lae. IJN controls Indo, JI, Mari & CPO.

T7
2 NLF get night in Indo on even roll to chase 10 LBA. Instead of supporting LBA I decide to patrol other areas. There will be no easy win for me.

T8
I can't get enough patrollers in JI. Somehow 3 survive great IJN shooting. 3 LBA only need to disable one of two NLF to save AI, but they sink one. LBA in Mari disables Yorktown, but 6 shots back shoot it down. Then Bataan gets day and sinks Yamashiro. Net result I somehow sweep board.

POC = 0; adjusted = 4.5 for USN

Anders played very well. I thought he had the edge most of the game, and I doubted I could pull it out.
