Special rule for this round: Once the IJN Player has specified the order of the combat areas, either player may request that an area earlier in the order be resolved before a later area by specifying the later area, the area it's waiting for, how long it should wait, and the reason for the delay. Any area may be selected for any reason provided it conforms to the specified combat order. Note: The USN will need to wait for the IJN order before specifying preferences in order to exercise this option. Caveat: The GM strongly recommends (but will not enforce) that delays not be made for POC, attrition, or basing reasons. The GM reserves the right to remove this option from players or games running slowly.
