Turn 1

Repulse and Prince of Wales escape. 117, 453/3, and 2x443/4s limp out of Pearl. X and Z appear in HI.

POC = 7

Turn 2

3 LBA in Indo and 3 CVs in Australia prompt 5 LBAs and Shoho to go to Indo.

Enterprise dies while just disabling Junyo in CPO. We both choose night in Mars but 6 shots miss Hiryu, costing me a CV next round when I kill Hiryu and LBA.

On the plus side, Hosho dies while disabling Yorktown in SPO, and British sink Shoho at night.

I end up controlling CPO while more important Mars and SPO go neutral.  Heavy losses on both sides.

POC = 15

Turn 3

5 LBA go to HI with one to USM to protect against Samoa flipping too.  There's more carnage on both sides, but T3 is decisive for me. The less favored side wins d/n roll against +2 in all three areas.

Haruna dies while killing CA in CPO.

USM is disaster for IJN. I get night round 1. I sink Zuikaku but damage Shokaku just 1 point. IJN gets day round 2 but both CVs miss while dying.

HI isn't much better. In round 1, CVs kill marines and his LBA damage one LBA 3 points. My LBA kill Zuiho, put max damage on Akagi, and disable Kaga and Ryujo. Neither side sinks ships at night in round 2.  I win the ensuing air battles.

POC = 17

Turn 4

There's more IJN attrition. I lose British and US CV, while IJN loses Kaga, Yamato, and 3 CAs. JI, AI, and NPO go neutral. Sub disables Wasp to save repairing Akagi and IJN holds Indo, but LBA kill an NLF and hold SPO.

IJN has just 3 CVs left. Nathan resigns from a hopeless situation.

POC = 14
