End Game Comments from "The Viper"
This game was unique in my experiece because of the significant amount of diplomacy going on preceeding each turn. Players frequently agreed to move public into each others' joints (or to leave them there) in exchange for a good percentage of the haul (66% or more quite often). That allowed all of the players to accumulate a lot of cash considering the number of turns played. In the end, Sluggo scored the win because his Thug and Vamp continuously extorted and he seemed to have his way with the public on virtually every move (one advantage of his "mean yellow middle" strategy). It was an excellent game and left me hungry to try some of these same ideas in other games.
